PARIS - CITY OF LIGHTS
Paris as you know is the capital of France, well known throughout the world as a city of culture, history and beauty. It’s a cosmopolitan city where every neighbourhood is unique and offers plenty of different opportunities. Paris is the perfect mix between the respect of history and the modernity. You also all know Paris is the city of lovers where every meeting can become a romance.
FACULTY OF MEDECINE :
The medicine faculty of Paris 7 is located in the north of Paris. We can host you during : September, October, November, February , March, April, July and in a limited way during May and August.
In 2005, two old faculties, Bichat and Lariboisière merged to form a brand new faculty : Paris 7. There are 3400 students, divided in two places :
1st to 3rd year of medical studies : Bichat Faculty 46 rue Henri Huchard 75018 Paris
4th to 6th year of medical studies : Lariboisière faculty 10 avenue de Verdun 75010 Paris
HOSPITALS :
The teaching hospitals allow you to attend a clerkship in any department. We can propose you to go in one of our 6 hospitals.

TRAINING COURSES
The non-resident medical students, called “externes”(under the 6th year) are spread in different departments of all hospitals of Paris 7, according to their year of study. They are at the hospital every morning from Monday to Friday ; their schedule depends on the department (approximately 8:00 - 12:00). Clothes in surgical units and white coats are provided, but students must have their materials (stethoscope, reflex hammer).
Their Role depend on the departments : generally the students write patient’s history and do medical examination, follow the ward rounds and the staffs and finally file the medical records. In surgical field, they can help in operating room.
Incoming students in Paris 7
The students are hosted only during his clerkship. Generally we come pick him/her up at the airport. The foreign student lives with the student and his family or with the student if he lives alone. Breakfast and dinner are provided by the hosting family/ student. Lunch can be take at the hospital cafeteria for free from Monday to Friday
Social Program
It depend on the number of students and your expectations. But we are always there for you to visit Paris and its many sites like : Eiffel Tower Louvres Museum, Chatelet and Beaubourg Center Triumph Arch and Champs Elysées Montmartre , Sacré-Coeur Eurodisney.....

Practical infos - How to reach the center of Paris from the airport
There are 2 airports in the suburbs of Paris : Roissy-Charles de Gaulle and Orly airport
From Paris-Orly
RER B Return to Orlyval station from your arrival gate :
- Orly-Sud : go towards J exit
- Orly-Ouest : go towards W exit departure floor Orlyval bring you to Antony.
RER C Go to « Pont de Rungis-Aéroport d’Orly » station from your arrival gate :
- Orly Sud : take ADP shuttle at G exit platform 1
- Orly Ouest : take ADP shuttle at G exit arrival floor
Bus 283 ou Orlybus Orly-Sud > Denfert-Rochereau 183 Orly-Sud > Porte de Choisy
From Paris-CDG
RER B
- Terminal 1 Take Aéroports de Paris shuttle (line 2) exit 22, departure floor and get out of the shuttle at « Roissypôle-Terminal 3 » stop
- Terminal 2A & 2B Take Aéroports de Paris shuttle (line 3) exit 8 from gate 2A et exit 6 from gate 2B and get out of the shuttle « gare TGV/RER » stop
- Terminal 2C & 2D Follow « Paris par train » signs
- Terminal 2E & 2F Follow « Paris par train » signs
- Terminal 3 Take a foot path and follow « Paris par train »signs Aéroports de Paris shuttles are free between 1,2,3 Gates .
