The NorWHO Simulation, or just NorWHO for short, is an opportunity open for students who want to put their negotiation skills to the test and experience how international guidelines on global health are reached within the World Health Organization (WHO).
The event simulates the debating and decision-making processes surrounding the annual World Health Assembly of the WHO by incorporating several key aspects of the real-world meeting into an exciting five-day programme hosted in Copenhagen, Denmark.
The World Health Organization (WHO) is an agency of the United Nations that was established in 1948 to focus on the prevention and control of diseases of international concern. Since this time the WHO has worked on raising the level of health globally. Today the WHO resembles an understanding of health as being a shared responsibility, involving equitable access to essential care and collective defence against transnational threats.
